5 Miles A Day Running Challenge

Breakfast – A bowl of oatmeal (40g) for breakfast and a cup of coffee for breakfast
Lunch – Small bowl of steamed rice, poached chicken, black bean with hot sauce
Pre-run – Ate lunch a couple hours before the run. So that is my pre-run meal
- Phone and AirPods
- Wore my long sleeve tech shirt
- My reflective vest.
- My handheld phone carrier
- My Hoka running shoes
I took Ibuprofen in the morning and about 45 minutes before I ran today and my hip felt a lot better.
I also limited the amount of stretching I did pre-run. I believe that too much stretching aggravates my hip. Seemed to work today
I was stiff for the first quarter mile, but it was not too bad. From there all was good
The weather was great. Nice breeze, but not too much, and warm.
Thinking about a long run tomorrow. 8 miler? It’s possible!
