December 7, 2020.
Day 30 is finally here! 30 Day Run Challenge completed.
From the couch to the curb. It’s quite a sense of accomplishment to finally kick start my fitness journey.
And it’s only fitting to have snow flurries on the final day. Love it!
Weather at run time – 34 F, slight drizzle, and 4 mph winds. Feels like 30.
My pre-run routine:
- Nutrition – Empty stomach run.
- Warm-up stretches include some squats, high kicks (front and back), lunges, and pulling knees to the chest
- Power check for my phone and AirPods
- Wore my long sleeve tech shirt, and a retro Nike Fit jacket
- No cap or hat.
- Patagonia headband.
- My reflective vest.
- Grabbed my handheld phone carrier

On the Run – Before and After
Today was definitely the coldest day of the challenge, but it didn’t matter. It was also the last day.
I started off tonight with a sore hip, and ended with a sore hip. I thought it would dissipate at some point, but it was not to be.
