The inspiration to run 5 miles a day for 30 days challenge came after gaining a lot of confidence completing my most recent running challenge.
Starting a public running log to give me an increased degree of accountability.
The long runs I incorporated into my challenge gave me the assurance I could increase the miles with my next challenge distance. Also, to build from a base of consistent runs.
I had been researching if running 5 miles a day is good for you. Based on my findings, I’m confident I will have a great shot at completing this new challenge as well.
Here are some of the benefits when you run 5 miles a day:
- Having a familiar workout routine helps you exercise regularly
- Lose weight
- Boost your metabolism
- Improve overall heart health
I’m excited to get this new challenge started. Will you join me?
I will use Map My Run app to track my daily runs.
