RIP Buddy -Running Challenge – Day 11

3 Miles A Day for 30 Days – Day 11

November 18, 2020.

My pre-run meal – nothing.

Yesterday was my best run since this challenge began. Not sure I will be able to beat that today. Lost my best friend today. Emotions running high.

The weather today was sunny, cool (almost cold), and breezy. The temperature was 41 F at run time.

Just not really feeling like running, but I feel like I should.

Completed my pre-run checklist; light stretching, a power check for the phone and air pods, grabbed my handheld phone carrier. Okay, I’m doing this.

3 Miles A Day for 30 Days – Day 11 – Notes:

No change in my run course.

My body felt good felt the run. As previously stated, I was a bit emotional today.

The pace was pretty easy. While the wind was 8 mph, but nothing that would impact my run. The first two miles, I continued with the short stride, faster leg turnover method. The last mile I resorted back to my larger stride, just to see if it made much of a difference.

Today… another running time best.

Due to the cold weather, I was able to break out a new compression shirt. Love to have new gear! Picked up 3 shirts from Amazon. Great price.

I was surprised the time came in as well as it did.

No pushups today.

Post-run meal – Steak and pasta. Pretty good!
